CHRISTIAN DAILY DEVOTIONALS
The Daily Devotionals page is a space where I share personal reflections, studies, and honest moments from my time in Scripture.
Each devotional is written through prayer, curiosity, and a desire to understand God’s Word more deeply — not just intellectually, but personally.
Sometimes that means sitting with difficult questions.
Sometimes it means slowing down enough to notice details we often rush past.
My hope is that these devotionals help bring Scripture to life in a way that feels thoughtful, grounded, and deeply human.
Together we explore the stories, context, emotions, and truths woven throughout the Bible — seeking wisdom, encouragement, and a deeper walk with God in everyday life.
DEEP BIBLE STUDY SERIES
Sometimes one post simply is not enough.
There are moments in Scripture that deserve to be slowed down, explored carefully, and understood in their original context — beyond what we may first notice while casually reading through.
Over time, language changes.
Culture changes.
The way we understand stories changes too.
So within these study series, we go deeper.
We explore:
- the original language,
- historical and cultural context,
- symbolism,
- overlooked details,
- and the deeper threads woven throughout Scripture.
My goal is not just to study the Bible academically, but to bring the story to life in a way that feels human, grounded, and understandable.
Sometimes that means breaking one event into several smaller reflections — creating bite-sized studies that help us sit with Scripture slowly and intentionally.
Here are some of the series currently available.

STUDY METHODS & DEEPER STUDY
There are so many ways to study the bible and some work for some and others work for others. I will be adding posts shortly discussing the various methods you can study the bible and work out which one suits you best. In the mean time here are some of the methods included in the study journal i have put up totally for FREE.
Chapter Analysis Method
Chapter analysis method - is a way to allow questions to lead you to deeper study. you start with a chapter summary of the chapter you read, the note down your observations, then look up interpretations, then look for correlations, Application and then your conclusion. Its a quick and nice way of creating a binder of chapter summaries and notes on that chapter to always go back on.
OIA Method
The OIA method, which stands for Observation, Interpretation, and Application, is a practical approach to studying the Bible. This method encourages readers to first observe the text closely, noting key details such as context, characters, and themes. Next, interpretation involves understanding the meaning of the passage, considering the historical and cultural background. Finally, application focuses on how the insights gained can be applied to one's life today. By following these three steps, individuals can deepen their understanding of scripture and enhance their spiritual growth.
Topical Study Method
The topical Bible study method is an effective approach to exploring specific themes or subjects within the Scriptures. By selecting a particular topic, such as love, forgiveness, or faith, individuals can gather relevant verses and passages that provide insight and guidance on that theme. This method encourages deeper engagement with the text, allowing for personal reflection and application of biblical principles to everyday life. It’s a valuable tool for both personal growth and group discussions, fostering a richer understanding of God’s word in a focused manner.
SOAP Method
The SOAP Bible Study Method is a simple and effective approach to studying Scripture that helps individuals deepen their understanding of God's Word. SOAP stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. First, you read a passage of the Bible (Scripture) and write it down. Next, you observe what the text is saying, noting key themes and insights. Then, you apply the lessons learned to your own life, considering how they can influence your actions and attitudes. Finally, you conclude with a prayer, asking for guidance in implementing these teachings. This method encourages personal reflection and practical application, making it a valuable tool for anyone seeking to grow in their faith.
