Based on Ephesians 6:10–18, Armour of God is a daily Bible arcade game that brings one of Scripture's most powerful passages to life. The apostle Paul tells us to put on the full armour of God every single day — and that's exactly what this game asks you to do.
You control a warrior standing on a battlefield. Pieces of God's armour fall from the sky — the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith, the Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit. Move your warrior left and right to walk beneath each piece and equip it. Once all six pieces are in place, a named enemy boss appears and the real battle begins.
The question is simple: how many days can you stand firm?
The Daily Battle
Each completed set of armour counts as one day survived. The game never ends — it keeps cycling, because the Bible tells us the armour is not a one-time thing. Every morning we face a new day of spiritual battle, and every day we need to put the armour back on. The longer you play, the harder the enemy fights. Speed increases, hazards multiply, and the bosses grow fiercer with every level.
The Boss Wave
Once your warrior is fully armoured, the day's enemy appears — The Accuser, The Deceiver, The Oppressor, The Tempter, The Liar, or The Destroyer, depending on how far you've come. The sky darkens, the onslaught intensifies, and Scripture scrolls begin falling through the chaos. Catch three scrolls while dodging the enemy's attacks to defeat the boss and complete the day.
When Armour Is Ripped Away
Getting hit doesn't just hurt — it tears a piece of your armour off and sends it falling back to the ground. You have to find it and re-equip it before you can face the boss. If you're hit with no armour at all, you lose a life. Run out of lives and the battle is over.
Levels and Enemies
The game moves through six levels — Dawn, Morning, Midday, Afternoon, Evening, and Night — each with new enemies introduced and the difficulty ratcheting up. Early levels bring fiery darts and stones. Later levels add serpents, temptation, darkness, chains, idols, fear, pride, lies, and more. Each enemy is paired with a scripture that speaks directly to that spiritual attack.
Scripture Throughout
Every completed day reveals the full Ephesians 6 armour passage — each piece with its verse, its meaning, and how it applies spiritually. The day complete screen also shows what's coming in the next level, including the new enemies you'll face and the boss waiting for you. Scripture isn't decoration here — it's the point.
How to Play
Move your warrior — use the left and right arrow keys on a keyboard, or tap the on-screen buttons on mobile.
Collect the armour — walk your warrior beneath each falling piece to equip it. The name of each piece is labelled as it falls so you always know what it is.
Dodge the enemies — fiery darts, serpents, chains, and worse fall alongside the armour. Getting hit rips a piece of your armour off. Getting hit with no armour costs you a life.
Defeat the boss — once fully armoured, the day's boss appears. Catch three 📜 Scripture scrolls while dodging the onslaught to defeat him and complete the day.
Read the scripture — after each day, take a moment to read through the armour passage. Each piece has its verse and its meaning for daily life.
Try to beat your record — your best score and furthest day are saved to your account. Come back daily and see how long you can stand.
"Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." — Ephesians 6:13
